Holiday Programs

The main challenge of PSLE math lies in its emphasis on problem-solving skills which are very demanding for 12-year-olds.

We recommend parents with Primary 5 children to consult specialists like us to check if your child has any underlying weaknesses in their problem-solving skills. Some of these weaknesses may take time to overcome.

High-ability primary students

Singapore's education philosophy is about helping every student learn enough while not holding back those who can learn more. To strike this delicate balance, there is a sharp increase in the difficulty of math in Primary 5 which generally affects all students.

On top of that, high-ability learners from Primary 4 onwards will be supported with special programs like GEP or E2K etc. Beyond primary school, math talents are further supported through provisions like math festivals and special schools like NUS High etc.

However, before that happens, some children may feel under-stretched by how little they are learning in school, which can lead to a negative impression of it.

We have extensive experience in teaching high-ability students and we understand their emotional and learning needs. By acting as a bridge between how they naturally learn and the teaching methods used in school, we aim to help them adapt and excel in their school environment.
